Wichita police need your assistance in solving some burglaries. Recently, there has been a rash of burglaries to businesses where the prowlers have entered through the roof. The businesses are in various parts of the city and provide different kinds of service. Losses incurred by the interlopers have been cash and equipment.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE #736

FOR THE WEEK OCTOBER 21ST, 2007

Wichita Police need your help to solve a shooting. Early in the morning of October 15, 2007, several people were asleep in a house at 1101 North Waco Avenue when two suspects kicked in the back door. The intruders started yelling at those asleep in the living room to get on the ground then they shot one of the occupants. The shooters were seen running from the house towards the west.

The suspects are described as black males that were wearing white t-shirts and dark colored pants.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE #735

FOR THE WEEK OCTOBER 14TH, 2007

Wichita police need your help to solve a robbery. Late in the evening of October
4, 2007, two women were in a vehicle stopped at the intersection of 31st Street
South and Broadway. While the women were waiting for the light to turn green,
two suspects approached the passenger side window pointing a handgun at
them. The suspects took both women’s purses and ran off to the east.

The suspects are described as white males in dark clothes. One of them was
wearing a hoodie that was pulled up to partially cover his face.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE #734

FOR THE WEEK OCTOBER 7TH, 2007

Wichita Police need your help.  Early in the morning of October 1, 2007, someone broke into Continental Cyclery located at 791 North West Street by breaking out the front window using a cast iron hand-hole cover.  The crooks stole a dark blue Specialized Stump Jumper mountain bike with front and rear suspension.  Four other bicycles were damaged when the business was broken into.  The stolen Stump Jumper bicycle is valued at almost $3000.00, and damage to the other property was around $1000.00.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE #733

FOR THE WEEK SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2007

The Wichita Police Department needs your help to solve a burglary. Early in the morning of September 13, 2007, officers were called out to an alarm at Winfield Motor Company located at 2621 South Broadway Avenue. As they were searching the business, a suspect ran out of the back of the building into some woods. Officers found that several electrical lines were cut. Taken in the burglary was more than $3000.00 in cash and some checks.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male of average build in all black clothing.
