FOR THE WEEK APRIL 20TH, 2008
Crime Stoppers and you can help solve a robbery. In the afternoon of April 12, 2008, a man was peddling some shoes from his van in the parking lot of the apartments at 5400 East 21st Street North. Out of nowhere, someone punched him in his jaw, knocking him to the ground. The suspect continued to punch him until another suspect walked up and pointed a gun to his chest. The armed suspect then demanded the victim’s money. The two robbers stole the victim’s wallet and van keys then drove off in his blue 2003 Ford Windstar minivan. The victim’s van was later recovered by police near Grove Park.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s, 5′2″, 140 lbs, wearing a white sports jersey, blue jeans and dreadlocks.
The second suspect is described as a black male, 5′11″, 175 lbs, wearing a dark checkered shirt, blue jeans, black ski mask and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

FOR THE WEEK APRIL 13TH, 2008
You can be a crime stopper. On April 8th around 9 o’clock in the morning, a woman’s vehicle broke down in the 1900 block of East 21st Street North. A young man offered his assistance by giving her a ride to an auto parts store. The woman got into his brown colored van, but he did not turn out to be as helpful as she hoped. A couple blocks into the ride, the man pulled a knife on the woman and demanded her money. The woman did as he asked and then got out of the vehicle.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s, short in height, wearing a black jacket.

FOR THE WEEK APRIL 6THTH, 2008
The Wichita Fire Department is seeking information about some arsons. From close to midnight of March 25th, 2008 to the same time on March 26th, 2008 there were five vehicles set on fire. Two were in the 600 block of East Douglas, one was in the 1600 block of South Meade and two were in the 2700 block of South Topeka. To view the pin map of the arsons, click on the link below.
