FOR THE WEEK MAY 25TH, 2008
You can help solve a robbery that occurred in the 3100 block of West 27th Street South. Around noon on May 20, 2008, the residents living there heard a knock at the door. When the door was opened, three unknown suspects stormed in with guns drawn striking one of the victims with a gun. The residents were forced into the basement and made to lie on the floor. One of the suspects watched them, while the others tore through the house stealing a television, laptop computer, Nintendo Wii, cash and cellular phones.
The suspects are described as black males in their late teens. Two of them were of average height and build while one was shorter and heavy set. They were all wearing do-rags and black gloves. Two of the suspects were armed with chrome revolver handguns.

FOR THE WEEK MAY 18TH, 2008
Crime Stoppers needs you to help solve a break in. Sometime between the afternoon of May 2, 2008 and the morning of May 5, 2008, unknown person(s) broke into two fire trucks and a van at the Wichita Fire Department Training Center located at 4780East 31st Street South. The suspects removed the radio head units, an oxygen sensor, an automatic defibrillator and an air pack from the vehicles. Estimated loss is more than $17,000.00.

FOR THE WEEK MAY 11TH, 2008
Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve a burglary. Sometime between 6:00 pm on May 2, 2008 and 1:00 pm on May 3, 2008 unknown person(s) broke into the fenced in area of Prairie Land Services located at 3703 W. Maple. The burglars stole custom rims and ground effects off of some vehicles there. The suspects went a step further and poured motor oil on the hoods of the vehicles.
They then broke into a garage and stole a key cutting machine, blank keys and a tool bag. Estimated loss is more than $14,000.00.

FOR THE WEEK MAY 4TH, 2008
Wichita Police need your help. Round 7:00 pm on April 27, 2008, a man entered Jacob’s Liquor Exchange at 10221 West 21st Street North and ran out of the store with a few bottles of liquor. The clerk ran after the thief and tried to get the bottles back as he was getting into a silver Pontiac Bonneville. The suspect then pulled out a silver colored handgun from the vehicle and pointed it at the clerk’s head. When the clerk ducked behind cover, the suspect drove off. The car was later recovered by the Sheriff’s Office on West Kellogg. It had been stolen on April 25th from the area of East Mount Vernon and South Spruce.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, 6′2″, 165 lbs and blonde hair.

FOR THE WEEK APRIL 27TH, 2008
Wichita Police are needing help to solve a robbery. Late in the evening on April 21, 2008, a Hispanic male in his 20’s entered Aboud’s Retail Liquor at 955 South Rock Road and pointed a handgun at the employee behind the counter. The suspect demanded the clerk to open the register. He complied and the suspect reached over the counter, taking money from the till. The suspect then ran out of the store towards the southwest.
The suspect was described as having a medium height and build, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with black trim and faded blue jeans.
