FOR THE WEEK MARCH 1ST, 2009

Just before midnight on Monday, February 23rd, the employees of Applebee’s located at 2035 North Rock Road were finishing up the closing of the restaurant.  Two men came out from behind the dumpster that an employee was emptying the trash into as the manager held the door open for him.  The robbers indicated that they had a gun and forced the employees back into the building and into the office where the safe was kept.  The suspects placed the money from the safe into a yellow purse with rhinestones on it, which they had brought along with them.  Witness saw two men run from the back of Applebee’s south towards Sundance Apartments at the time the robbery occurred.

The suspects are described as black males in their twenties having an average height and build.  One was wearing a burgundy colored hoodie and black ski mask, and the other was wearing a blue colored “Old Navy” hoodie and ski mask.
