Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve a highway robbery.  Around 1:30 in the morning of Thursday, June 18^th, two Spangles employees were walking to their cars after closing up the business at 1138 West Pawnee.  One of them stopped to light a cigarette while the other continued to walk to her car.  Out of nowhere, two women and a man attacked the employee who was getting into her car with the night deposit.  The robbers were able to wrestle the bank bag away and ran away to the west and disappeared behind the Church’s Chicken.

The first suspect was described as a black male in his late teens with an average height and build.  He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect was described as a black female in her late teens with an average height and build and her hair pulled back.  She was wearing a blue shirt.

The third suspect was described as a white or Hispanic female in her late teens with an average height and build and her hair pulled back.  She was wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.

FOR THE WEEK JUNE 21ST, 2009

After closing time on Monday, June 15^th, three to four men tried to rob the NOA Club located at 2255 North Broadway.  As one of the employees was dumping mop water, the robbers barged into the business armed with a black handgun.  Another employee then fired a gun in the air as the suspects were yelling at them.  A robber fired back then they all ran out of the club.

All the suspects were described as unknown race males having a heavy build.  They wore black shirts, black long shorts and bandanas over their faces.

FOR THE WEEK JUNE 14TH, 2009

We need your help.  On Tuesday, June 9^th, just after midnight, a woman was walking to her daughter’s house.  She had noticed that a dark colored 80’s model pickup had been following her.  At Murdock & Spruce, two people jumped out of the pickup and came up behind the woman.  They began punching her in the head and face and then rummaged through her pockets.  The robbers were able to make off with her cash as they left her lying in the street.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his late teens having a tall height and medium build.  He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue basket ball shorts.

The other suspect is described as a black female having a medium height and medium build.  She was wearing a white shirt.

FOR THE WEEK JUNE 7TH, 2009

We need help solving a residential robbery that occurred Monday, June 1^st.  The residents of a house in the 4000 block of East Brooks were watching TV and talking on the phone around midnight when two masked men armed with handguns kicked in the back door and forced them into a bedroom.  After the robbers were finished pillaging the house, they forced the victims outside and made them lay on the ground by some bushed as they made their getaway.

The suspects were described as black males having a medium height and build.  One was wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jean shorts that had a marijuana leaf print on the side.  Both suspects wore red bandanas to cover their faces.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE #922

FOR THE WEEK MAY 31ST, 2009

Sheriff detectives need your help.  On Sunday, May 3^rd, two men were walking out of Jezebel’s located at 4520 East 47^th Street South at closing when they were accosted by another patron of the club.  Without warning, the victim in the case was stabbed in the chest.  The assailant then took off in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a white Hispanic male with a short height and light build.  He was wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans.  He was with a group of men that frequent the club and were in the VIP area the night of the incident.
