During the early morning hours of Sunday, October 25th, unknown suspect(s) broke into Texas Roadhouse located at 6707 West Kellogg by cutting a hole through the wall at the back of the building. The burglar(s) entered the office and cut a hole in the safe. They were not able to get the safe open, but took some money by reaching in. The damage is estimated at around $10,000.

FOR THE WEEK NOVEMBER 22ND, 2009
The College Hill area has been the target of some burglars lately. Between Friday, November 6th, and Sunday, November 15th, there have been five burglaries, all occurring in the early morning hours. The houses hit have been on Pershing, Crestway, Belmont and Fountain. Various items, including vehicles, were taken during the crimes.

FOR THE WEEK NOVEMBER 15TH, 2009
On Wednesday, October 7th, around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, fire crews were called to the Dollar General Store at 515 South Dugan. After the fire was put out, arson investigators determined that it had been intentionally set. The fire originated in the area of the store where the paper towels are displayed for purchase. The damage is estimated at $200,000 to the structure and $300,000 to the contents.

FOR THE WEEK NOVEMBER 8TH, 2009
Around 2:00 pm on Monday, November 1st, a shoplifter decided to make things worse for herself. She had just stolen some mens shirts from Gordman’s at 7011 West Central and was running from loss prevention agents through the parking lot. As they caught up to her, the suspect brandished a knife and told them that she was not going anywhere with them. With the agents held at bay, the suspect jumped in to a dark colored two-door Saturn and left south on Ridge Road.
The suspect is described as a black female in her twenties with an average height and build. She had red hair and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

FOR THE WEEK NOVEMBER 1ST, 2009
The Side Pockets bar was broken into during the early morning hours of Monday, October 26th. Someone used a pry tool to gain entry through the back door. With the use of a dolly, they wheel the safe out to the rear of the business and attempted to open it with a cutting tool. The burglars were unsuccessful at cracking open the safe, but they did make off with a large bucket full of quarters.
