On Sunday, June 12th, around 10 o’clock in the evening, two employees were closing up the Dollar General at 1919 East Pawnee.  One employee counted money in the back office while the other cleaned up the main part of the store.  The second employee walked around the front counter and found a man crawling on the floor.  He immediately jumped up, grabbed her by the arm, pointed a gun at her and demanded money.  She screamed, causing the other employee to come running to the front of the store.  The robber then forced both employees to the back.  He demanded money again and the male employee complied by getting the cash drawers from the office.  The suspect grabbed a VCR machine thinking it contained the surveillance tape and ran out of the store.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s with an average height and build.  He was wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and a black ski mask.
